Felicity Eylward
Felicity is a proud South Australian, but has been enjoying the cooler climate of Canberra for the past three years and especially loves Autumn in the nation’s capital. She graduated with a double degree of Law and Arts (Psychology) from the University of Adelaide before completing her Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice at the Australian National University.
While in South Australia, Felicity worked as a law clerk for a defendant solicitor during her law degree, predominantly in the Compulsory Third Party personal injury section, and for the WorkcoverSA agent in workers compensation. On moving to Canberra, Felicity was initially employed at a NSW personal injury firm for two years. This involved a change to plaintiff work, representing the injured worker in Comcare and ACT workers compensation matters, and those injured in ACT motor vehicle accidents. Felicity started with Maliganis Edwards Johnson in November 2010.
Since the transition to Canberra, Felicity has led an active lifestyle, with frequent visits to the gym and, more recently, an interest in golf and road cycling, determined to ‘ride the Cotter’ and beat the four Mountains of Canberra. She enjoys good wine from the wonderful Adelaide wineries, going to the ballet and opera, as well as barracking for the Adelaide Crows in the AFL. Felicity is a strong supporter of volunteering in the community and volunteers regularly doing pro bono work and helping at the RSPCA – making a growing list of all the animals she plans on adopting each time!
