Grace holds a Bachelor of Laws with Honours and a Bachelor of Asia Pacific Studies (including a year’s experience in Japan) from the Australian National University.
She also holds a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the Australian National University and was admitted to practice in ACT in 2019.
Grace migrated to Australia from China with her parents at the age of ten. She lived in Sydney and later moved to Canberra for university in 2011.
Grace started her legal professional experience in a boutique firm in Sydney where she assisted lawyers working in Conveyancing and Estate practices. Prior to admission, Grace accrued experience in litigation support and worked as a legal assistant/paralegal at a national law firm in its Family Law team, where she laid down the foundations to her legal career.
Grace joined MEJ in July 2019. She prides herself on her attention to detail, being a good listener and is compassionate to those who are in need. She is also cross-culturally component, having lived in three countries, and is fluent in Chinese (Mandarin) and conversational in Japanese.
Outside of work, Grace enjoys playing social badminton, watching movies and going on road trips with friends. She is an animal lover and would one day like to have her own puppy.
