Thuto Disele

Thuto is originally from a small town in North West South Africa called Zeerust. She migrated to Australia in 2005 and is fluent in Setswana.
She graduated from Western Sydney University with a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Arts (majoring in International Relations and Political Thought) in 2019.
She was fortunate enough to undergo exchange at Meiji University in Tokyo, Japan (majoring in Politics and Economics) and Essex University in the United Kingdom (majoring in Human Rights Law).
She commenced working in a Sydney firm that specialised in Construction and Property Law as a graduate solicitor. She provided advice and drafted building contracts for construction companies across Australia.
Thuto wanted to expand her litigation experience and subsequently moved to Canberra where she discovered personal injury law at MEJ.
She has a background in institutional abuse matters particularly sexual and physical abuse claims. Since joining MEJ she has expanded her background in medical negligence claims.
In her spare time, Thuto enjoys a selection of reality shows, tennis, good food and quality time with her family and friends.
