Calling for witnesses of abuse at Barrington Boys’ Home in Tasmania
Maliganis Edwards Johnson (MEJ) are investigating claims of physical and sexual abuse, alleged to have occurred at Barrington Boys’ Home in Tasmania.
MEJ wishes to speak with any former residents, employees, or members of the community who may been involved with or attended the home.
If you, someone you knew, or a loved one was a victim of sexual or physical abuse whilst attending the home, you deserve better. Our team are interested in hearing your stories, and seeking justice for survivors.
Recent changes and developments in the law can make it easier for survivors to seek compensation (even those that may have previously settled claims).
MEJ’s historical sexual abuse team is experienced in prosecuting institutions such as these and will guide you through the process.
