Calling for witnesses of child abuse in Launceston
Maliganis Edwards Johnson (MEJ) are investigating claims of sexual abuse in Launceston. The victims were all minors at the time they were abused.
One of the alleged perpetrators, James “Jim” Geoffrey Griffin, worked on the children’s ward at the Launceston General Hospital.
MEJ wishes to speak with any former employees, or members of the community who may have information relating to any abuse in Launceston.
If you were, or a loved one was a victim of child sexual or physical abuse, our specialist personal injury lawyers are interested in hearing your stories, noting recent changes and developments in the law making it easier for survivors to seek compensation (even those that may have previously settled claims).
MEJ’s historical sexual abuse team is experienced in prosecuting individuals and institutions such as these and will guide you though the process. Please contact us to talk about your experiences regardless of when it may have occurred.
