Maliganis Edwards Johnson (MEJ) are investigating claims of physical and sexual abuse alleged to have occurred at the following Tasmanian institutions:
- Wybra Hall
- Ashley Home for Boys
- George Town High School – the Eagles
- Weeroona Girls’ Training Centre
The victims were all minors at the time they were abused.
MEJ wishes to speak with any former employees, or members of the community who may been involved with or attended these institutions.
If you were or a loved one was, a victim of child sexual or physical abuse whilst attending any of these institutions, our specialist personal injury lawyers are interested in hearing your stories.
Recent changes and developments in the law making it easier for survivors to seek compensation (even those that may have previously settled claims).
MEJ’s historical sexual abuse team is experienced in prosecuting institutions such as these and will guide you through the process.
