Congratulations to Kirsten Leitch and Kate Waterford, MEJ’s newest Partners

The MEJ team and extended community congratulate Kirsten and Kate on the decades of dedication and service that have brought them to this moment and look forward to seeing them excel in these new roles.

Kirsten Leitch honed her skills across 15 years working with governments and insurance companies in personal injury and professional indemnity before joining MEJ in 2013. Named as a Leading Lawyer in the area of workplace injury compensation in the Doyle’s Guide 2021, Kirsten also spends time volunteering with her local netball club and children’s schools.

Kate Waterford is one of MEJ’s foremost experts in medical litigation and has worked in civil litigation since 2002. Kate has also dedicated many hours to her community through her work as a university lecturer and policy advisor to educational institutions and not-for-profit organisations, as well as her volunteering work at Amnesty International among many others.
