The latest charities featured in our monthly spotlight are Canberra Street Cat Alliance and Roundabout Canberra. Every month we are excited to share the incredible work of some great not-for-profit and charity organisations making a difference in the Canberra community we live and work in.

The Canberra Street Cat Alliance was nominated by Personal Assistant Stella Smith for their work to humanely reduce the population of street cats in Canberra and the surrounding region.

“I admire that Canberra Street Cat Alliance helps provide a helping hand to homeless and sometimes forgotten cats,” says Stella.

“They have a Trap-Neuter-Return program and strive to rehome suitable cats..”

The second charity chosen this month is Roundabout Canberra, who were nominated for their work to help give every child a safe start to life. They provide safe, high quality, essential baby and children’s items to families in need. Through their partnerships with social services they ensure the safety, wellbeing and dignity of children and their families. Their focus on essential items frees services up to concentrate on supporting families with their other needs. MEJ staff members have also recently donated goods to the charity.

We do a spotlight on local charities each month, giving our team a chance to celebrate and recognise the people and organisations that make a big difference in our community. Keep an eye out for our next via our Facebook and LinkedIn pages.
