The latest charities featured in our monthly spotlight are the Spotlight Foundation and Guide Dogs NSW/ACT. Every month, we are excited to share the great work of some wonderful not-for-profit and charity organisations, and how they make people’s lives better.

This month, the Starlight Foundation was chosen for their work to support sick kids’ health and wellbeing.

MEJ Law Clerk Nick Radford said the Foundation does great work to help children who are going through illness in the hospital, providing entertainment and fun to help them stay happy and positive.

“The hospital is the last place a child should be, so it’s nice to see a charity that works to ensure the kids are taken care of as much as possible, while also taking some pressure off the parents,” said Nick.

The second charity chosen was Guide Dogs NSW/ACT, which provides Guide Dogs and orientation and mobility services that enable people with low vision or blindness to get around their communities safely and independently. The team was excited to support this important service that impact so many Canberrans.

Stay tuned for regular charity spotlights – a chance for our team to celebrate the people and organisations making a big difference in our community.
