Hassan was born in Rawalpindi Pakistan and migrated to Australia in 1991. His first love in Australia was the MCG and the great Geelong Cats.
Hassan graduated from the University of Canberra with a Bachelor of Laws with Honours and a Bachelor of Information Technology. He also holds a Master of Laws (Legal Practice) from the Australian National University.
Hassan was an active member of his University’s law students association, representing the University at national and international legal competitions and was also awarded an honorary life membership.
He commenced working with a multi-national consulting firm providing advice to Government and private enterprise, moving to family law prior to joining Maliganis Edwards Johnson to focus on helping those in need.
Hassan joined the firm in 2011 and specialises in motor vehicle accident, institutional abuse, medical negligence and public liability claims.
He is a passionate advocate and focuses on goal orientated litigation ensuring the best outcomes for his clients.
In July 2017 he was promoted to a Senior Associate within the firm.
He is a member of the Australian Lawyers Alliance and is on the ACT branch committee of the Australian Lawyers Alliance. He is fluent in Urdu and Punjabi.
Hassan is a keen sportsman. He has a love for cricket and tennis, often writing, analysing and critiquing games. You will also find him as the master of ceremonies for weddings around Canberra.
